Meet Linda Smith
I have over 30 years of experience working with seniors as a home care physical therapist. I have witnessed the undeniable importance of exercise in helping seniors remain healthy and active. I have also seen how difficult it can be for many older adults to incorporate exercise into their lives on a regular basis. This inspired me to start SENIOR FITNESS TRAINING.
I want people to know that age is not a barrier to fitness. You can increase strength, balance, endurance, and impact your health at any age. Research has shown this is true well into your 90s. Exercise can have a tremendous impact on your quality of life. The choices you make today can determine your future.
I realize that many seniors face certain challenges when exercising. Many older adults deal with issues like arthritis, osteoporosis, joint replacements, diabetes, and other chronic conditions. My extensive experience working with the senior population makes me uniquely qualified to develop fitness plans tailored to each individual's abilities and needs. I enjoy working with people of all fitness levels, whether you are a beginner or a lifelong exerciser. I want to inspire seniors to move and make exercising enjoyable.
My mission is to empower seniors and help them live healthy, productive, happy lives.
